4th of July Centerpiece

I made these cute centerpieces for my Sister in Laws baby shower but thought they would be cute for the 4th of July as well.  Filled with candy they were also the prizes at the baby shower.  I am going to show you how to make them.

First get a 12x12 sheet of paper.  Score each side at 4 inches.

Your paper should look like a tic tac toe board.

Next score from the corner of the paper to the corner of the score lines.  Do this on all 4 corners.
Next fold the corners in to form the box and punch a small whole in each corner.
Now thread ribbon through 2 holes across from each other
Thread ribbon through the other two hole and add a bunch more ribbon just for looks.
I used some scraps that I had since you don't need very big pieces.

I added red squares cut 3 3/4 in. on each side and punched out a few white stars to finish it off.  Fill with candy, fireworks, poppers, whatever and have fun.
